Lol (I probably seem stalkerish now ) you and I actually have a lot in common ^^

I loves Dr Who and Douglas Adams, have you read his Salmon of Doubt? or Dirk Gently?

btw, it's only odd to 'normal' people, all eccentric people would see it as normal and not be phased by it :P

If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong.

haha (well it would make nice pace from people avoiding me), no i haven't read Salmon of Doubt, i have read The Long Dark Teatime of the soul the second Dirk Gently novel, it was actually the most recent book i've read, i picked it up in a little shop when i was on holiday and thought it would way to pass time (i was right) especially since i had left my 5 book compilation Bible of Hitch hikers at home.

I'm looking to get the first Dirk Gently book but i'm in no rush.

It's odd how closely linked Dr Who and Hitch hikers are, Douglas Adams wrote a few of the old episodes himself, me i'm firmly entrenched in the new ones atm, Waters of Mars was gloriously creepy and a suitable halloween episode and i'm waiting for the big christmas 2 hour 2 part epic atm. But both of Dr Who and hitchikers are so brilliantly and eccentrically British, makes me proud to live here, and i think i can say i'm one of those British eccentrics myself (it has been commented on before) Another thing to be thankful for (i think i'm starting a trend of being thankful for something every post now, why just be thankful on 1 day of the year haha)

;)

Salmon of Doubt was never finished, sadly he died before it got to being completed, but it's still a good read, I have only read one Dirk Gently but am having trouble finding them over here ;A;
So I am re-reading the five art trilogy

I am still waiting for those Dr Who episodes to come out here, if they are not here soon I will be you-tubing them :D
Even though I am not British myself (I'm Australian) I love the British humour, (I loved the television series of HHGTTG) [I am under twenty years old too lol] Monty Python is win also, Dr Who, Torchwood (tho not really comedy I still love it ^^) Fawlty Towers, Little Britian.
And though not TV I LOVE the Barron Knights, (do you know of them?) They are so funny and such awesome people, I have been lucky enough to meet them and go to a couple of concerts while they were over here.

The things I am thankful for I am thankful each day, don't need a day to be thankful ^^
Glad there are actually many people who share that thought with me ^^

oh yes the original 1981 series of Hitch Hikers was the best( even though i wasn't even born when they were made, i regularly watch monty python, i watched all torchwood when they were first aired, children of earth was great, all the classic 70's and 80's british comedies are timeless, Only fools and horses, Blackadder, Dads Army all monumental and i can watch them any day, actually we've got an entire channel over here dedicated just to classic british comedies, needless to say it is very popular.

i don't beleive i've heard of Barron knights, rings a bell though, surprisingly for a performing arts student i haven't seen many live shows, i'll get round to these things one day. actually i'm already on the case, i've got myself some tickets to Jeff Dunhams UK tour (one of the few Americans that can make me really laugh, along with Robin Williams)

if u can't find the second Dirk Gently book and ur really desperate i could send u my copy haha. i plan on reading Hitchikers again soon anyway so i don't imagine i'll be reading it again any time soon

I so wish I had that channel over here, I mean we do get the UKTV channel which has awesomes on it (Red Dwarf is another fave of mine ^^)

You get to see Jeff Dunham? I am so jealous ;p
Robin Willimans is cool too, he is my mum's fave actor of all time.

I might just see if I can find an e-version ;)
Though I do thank you for the offer
